ADOLLA’s New Single Has Us Flying High

ADOLLA

ADOLLA (pronounced uh-dole-uh) has been making waves in the Rocky Mountain hardcore/pop-punk scene and they have already managed to make a name for themselves in just over 3 years together as a band. ADOLLA combines raw, passionate vocals with exceptional musicianship to create a powerful combo of pure aggression and distinctive talent that’s hard to find in bands these days. Their new single “Birds” is absolutely a masterclass in how to balance a catchy melody with still letting each musician shine in their own right.

Reminiscent of melody masters State Champs and Grayscale, “Birds” plays on frontman Cody Lovrien’s powerhouse vocals to deliver a memorable performance straight to the listener’s ears. ADOLLA makes sure to give plenty of space to breathe in this song without losing the listener, with their catchy group chants of “You put me on the line” before coming right back in with a catchy, upbeat chorus. Especially live (because I’ve had the pleasure to hear them play it) this song really shines and is a great way for audiences, both new and old, to participate and get behind what ADOLLA has to say. “Birds” is a quintessential anthem, displaying unbridled passion in a concise yet structured approach that hits all the right spots. Now if pop-punk isn’t exactly your thing then ADOLLA has you covered as well, with a varied discography of tracks ranging from breakdown bangers that remind you of The Plot In You or Bad Omens, to songs such as “Birds” that will have you humming a melody in your shower for weeks on end.
