Tarantula Bill originally emerged in 2020 as the brainchild of Oklahoma-born Kendon McGehee, who was inspired during the pandemic to start his own project after years playing drums and guitar for other bands. Converting a corner of his apartment into a studio, McGehee taught himself the ropes of singing, mixing and mastering, eventually releasing his debut album Toola.

Tarantula Bill is entering a defining new era. Their upcoming full-length album, produced, mixed, and mastered by Jon Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, MGMT) at Tarbox Road Studios, is complete and primed for release.

The project's momentum has been building steadily. Evolving from a solo experiment into a high-energy live act, Tarantula Bill has already established themselves with a growing catalog of national tours and independent releases. Their sound is defined by hypnotic textures, sharp melodic instincts, and immersive stage energy.
