There is also a Spotify Playlist every month with the featured bands and artists to accompany these lists, so that you can give them a listen for yourself! Without further ado, let's jump right into it!

Corsicana

Formed almost ten years ago by Ben Pisano, Corsicana has been bringing dreamy indie vibes to the scene ever since and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Corsicana gives you those hints of nostalgia in their music that makes you look upon the past with a warmth and fondness that is hard to come by with many artists. With the release of their new album, Kept - they’ve proved themselves to be one of those bucket list artists that you must see live. After a successful album release show at the Mercury Cafe in Denver and a west coast fall tour, Corsicana has established themselves as unstoppable and one of the top names on the scene, so it’ll be interesting and exciting to see where they go from here!

Horse Bitch

Hands down one of the most entertaining bands on the scene, Horse Bitch enthralls audiences and has them laughing, singing, and moving from start to finish. Blending the sounds of midwest emo with folk country and blues rock, this combo would have even the most open-minded music fans and critics alike turning their heads in skepticism. But rest assured, it all works together in a way that is simply hard to describe and is something you must witness yourself.

Make sure to catch Horse Bitch at their next show on December 1st at the Marquis Denver opening up for Motherfolk! Additionally, make sure to give them a follow on social media as they have some new music in the works that’s expected to drop soon!

hellocentral

You can’t have a conversation about Denver’s pop punk scene without mentioning hellocentral. As the scene has continued to grow over the years, hellocentral has become one of the most established bands in Colorado as a whole, with persistent radio airplay and often write-ups in some popular mediums, such as Westword and 303 Magazine. Now, with the release of their brand new album All That’s Left Is Love, they have truly cemented themselves within the scene and crafted their own unique sound.

Dry Ice

Dry Ice doesn’t just put on a show, they put on a performance! Combing psych-rock sounds with punk, dream pop, and shoegaze influences, Dry Ice blurs the lines between music and performance art brilliantly. The great thing about Dry Ice is that they have a little bit of something for everyone. In a mood for some punk? They got you covered. Wanting some shoegaze or some psych-rock? They also got you covered there, with a wide array of songs to choose from. Their most recent release Mt. Charismatic Heart is a 2-part psychedelic journey which is followed by the psychedelic dream song appropriately titled, “Organ Song”. The future is bright for Dry Ice, so make sure to stay up to date with everything coming your way because you’re not gonna want to miss it!

Creek

Creek

Formed back in 2015, Creek has been performing what they refer to as “emogaze” music to audiences around the Rocky Mountain region ever since. Their sound is reminiscent of the likes of Turnover and Citizen, with a melancholy vibe and a sheer, driving passion and hurt within the songs that moves them along and keeps the listener’s attention from start to finish. Additionally, with a new iteration of the band, they have released some brand new songs including the almost four minute heavy-hitting track “Moving On”.

You can check out Creek at their next show on November 10th at the Skylark Lounge, along with Nightfishing and Buio Totale and be sure to be on the lookout for some new music dropping from them soon!
